Cosmic Ammolite Slice

This one of a kind Ammonite is truly out of this world! This big, rare chunk is a huge piece of a whole Ammonite fossil covered in stunning, iridescent Ammolite with almost every vibrant color of the rainbow including red, orange, yellow, blue, green and purple! This large piece displays beautifully on its long, flat side and adds a whole lot of color to the environment. This piece was coated with a high quality lacquer to protect the Ammolite.

Ammonites are squid-like creatures that lived in the Mesozoic Era. This Ammonite is naturally iridescent and colorful due to the Ammolite gemstone that formed on its surface. This fossil was found in Southern Alberta, Canada.

Ammolite is an iridescent, thin layer of Aragonite that forms on a fossilized Ammonite shell. Ammolite has a colorful dragon-skin appearance and it is known to attract wealth and promote an overall sense of wellbeing. It also has a strong connection to the past.
